The Honduras Coffee Beans Story
Discerning coffee lovers value quality, locally freshly roasted coffee that complements their healthy and earth-friendly lifestyles. They understand that investing in responsibly sourced, sustainable coffee beans provides far-reaching benefits to the environment, to local communities, as well as to their own health.
The coffee beans growing in the highlands of Comayagua, Honduras, was started by two Rodrigues’ brothers. We are grateful that five generations and 19 descendants later, the coffee-growing tradition lives on. Today each family member owns and operates their own farm.
Around sixty years ago, another family started grown coffee in the mountains of San Marcos, Ocotepeque. Don Israel Ventura was one of the first coffee producers of this mountainous area. His eldest son, Lurvin expanded on it by establishing a dry mill and processing plant where both the Rodriguez and Ventura families process and export their coffees.
Coffee lovers from around the world are grateful that this joint venture has been successful. Through their long-standing commitment to providing organically grown, high-quality Arabica coffee beans, they’ve consistently produced delicious and diverse coffee offerings.
