The Colombia-Pereira Risaralda Coffee Beans Story
Huila is located along the Eastern borders of Cauca and Tolima, nestled on the Andean Eastern and Central Mountains in South West Colombia.
Huila’s location, altitude, rich volcanic soil, and year-round average temperature of 65 Degrees Fahrenheit makes it an ideal coffee growing location.
Since most of the coffee in Huila and throughout Columbia is produced by small farms, Colsuaves sources most of its coffee from local mills and producer groups. These coffee beans are usually pulped, washed and sun dried on the farms before being pooled together into larger lots.
Through the Columbian coffee farmers’ long-standing commitment to providing organically grown, high quality Arabica coffee beans, they’ve consistently produced delicious and diverse coffee offerings.
